Enabling the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people is everyone’s responsibility.

We want to help increase mental health awareness at community level by providing consultation and training for professionals working with children and young people.

Mental Health Consultation and Training

Are you a professional working with children and young people looking for advice or training to develop your mental health support skills?

We run a consultation and training service for staff working in Healthcare, Social Care and Education, including:

  • School, college or university teachers
  • Student support teams
  • Pastoral staff
  • Social workers
  • Secondary and Primary Care staff, including non-clinical roles (e.g. Social Prescribing Link Workers)
  • 0-19 Service staff

Have your say!

We will be undertaking a training needs analysis during April-May 2022 to ensure our training programmes match the needs of local staff.

If you have any ideas or suggestions of topics that could help improve your mental health support skills, we are looking forward to hearing from you!
